Seiko AGS Titanium Scuba "Grey Ghost"
Automatic Quartz Watches; Introduction:
Japanese company Seiko pioneered the technique which it unveiled at the Baselworld 1986 trade show under the trial name AGM ( Later AGS, Automatic Generating System ). The first such watch was released in Germany in January 1988 and April of the same year in Japan (under the name Auto-Quartz). In 1991 the company introduced the Kinetic brand name.
It works using a rotating pendulum rotor in similar fashion to the rotor in a mechanical automatic watch which is inside and attached to a larger gear which meshes with a very small pinion. It operates on the wrist movement of the wearer and rotates via a 1/100 gearing pinion, transferring energy to a power-generator at high speed to produce an electrical current and charges a capacitor (KESU) which in turn feeds the time circuits.
I'm going to show to you a Siver Ghost from before 1991, still an AGS...
The dial is like sandpaper...
Titanium Power...¡¡¡
This one is member of the Seiko Scuba line..
The pusher at "2" activates the power reserve indication...

Miam ! Plus j'en vois, plus je suis fan des . Peut-on savoir, par contre combien couterait ce beau jouet ?
Yum ! The more I see them, the more I like them. Nevertheless, how much would cost such a toy ?
